I met Laia last summer when she was teaching a Spanish course in my city, Osijek. My group was a rookie group but she made learning Spanish easy because she started from the scratch and was explaining everything very simple yet clear. My course lasted 6 weeks and by the end of the course, I learned a lot of Spanish words which helped me later in school with my Italian. I guess I can thank Laia for that. Except from being an amazing professor, we could also talk to her and it was never boring. She taught us about Spanish culture, traditional dishes and customs. In my opinion, if a person is learning a foreign language, they should also know a thing or two about that foreign country and it's culture. We listened to songs in Spanish and I think thats a great way to learn a new language. My experiences with Laia were unforgettable and I would recommend her to anyone because she brings new perspective.
